John is now midterm of his first year Masters of Fine Art @ Parsons the New School for Design. Above is the poster for John's Current Art show in NYC. GROUP/THERAPY /gru:p//'θerəpi/: The concept of group therapy leads us to associate the processes that take place in a psychiatric organization with pedagogical methodologies used in some educational institutions.

In both cases the person exhibits him/herself within the group context. The group process is explicitly utilized as a mechanism of change by developing, exploring and examining interpersonal relationships within the group.

This exhibition highlights a dichotomy in the situation where the artist is dealing with the construction of his/her own process and the fact that the group may configure his/her personal voice.

To what extent does this exchange shape or even become the work?
